Germany-based Bariess GmbH have launched their IRHD NORMAL Compact III hardness tester to test soft elastic materials, for the measuring range IRHD NORMAL, according to DIN ISO 48 (DIN 53519/1).
The original Bareiss IRHD MICRO Compact III hardness testing device was developed, for the measuring range IRHD MICRO, to test soft elastic materials, according to DIN ISO 48 (DIN 53519/2).
The Measuring Devices are easily interchangeable, on the standard Bareiss IRHD Compact III Test stand, for customers who require both IRHD MICRO and IRHD NORMAL.
Within the measuring range IRHD MICRO, the tester is suitable for samples of material thickness 0.6 to 5.0 mm; and within the measuring range IRHD NORMAL, the tester is suitable for samples of material thickness 6.0 to 10 mm.
The compact testing devices are ideal for hardness tests on incoming and outgoing goods, which are made of soft rubber, highly flexible or plastically deformable materials, with the testers able to transfer measurement values to a PC.
