ATE developed a 500kW at 20.000rpm compressor drive with an entire motor volume not larger than a shoe box, a stator outside diameter of 290 mm and an iron length of 160 mm. The high power density is reached by a high circumference speed range up to 170m/sec. For rotor stability high-class carbon fiber armoring material is used. Applications for such drives are powerful air conditioning and compressor systems. Additionally ATE can offer custom made motor solutions for any kind of pumps and micro compressors with speed ranges above 500.000rpm.
