Tech-Con Automation signs deal with Flow International

Tech-Con Automation Inc., Burlington, ON, has signed an exclusive agreement with Flow International Corp. ,Kent, WA to provide the automotive market with robotic waterjet cutting systems.
This agreement covers new robotic waterjet cells and includes service contracts and retrofits on any existing installed base within the automotive industry for Canada, US and Mexico. For all waterjet applications, both new and retrofits or basic service work, Tech-Con Automation Inc. will use exclusively Flow products along with local inventory to support the retrofit market.
“Tech-Con Automation has a very talented and experienced staff,” says Duane Snider, advanced robotics applications business manager for Flow International. “They have built and engineered turnkey systems using Flow waterjet cutting systems for years. They definitely have the expertise to execute and service a wide variety of robotic systems for the automotive waterjet market. This partnership between two industry leaders will provide new, innovative capabilities and ongoing support to the automotive industry.”

Tech-Con Automation builds robotic systems and integrated solutions for pallet based assembly lines, material handling, industrial automation and robotic waterjet cutting cells.
